Com a vitória da Suécia em 2015 foi decidido no dia 19 de Agosto que os apresentadores do Concurso seriam Mans Zelmerlow (representante em 2015 e ganhador) e Petra Mede (Apresentadora do Concurso em 2013) no dia 25 ficou acordado o Slogan deste ano ( Come Together) e a cidade Estocolmo para receber o festival e no dia 18 de Fevereiro foi aceite que começasse um novo sistema de votação em que os votos do publico e do júri serão divididos separadamente.

                                Novo Sistema de Votação (New Voting System)

Cada pessoa anunciara os 12 pontos do júri do seu pais , enquanto o resto da pontuação  do júri aparecerá na tela depois de todos os júris terem votado. No final os apresentadores anunciarão os resultados sempre do mais votado para o menos votado.
Each person will announce the 12 points of their country's jury, while the rest of the jury score will appear on the screen after all juries have voted. In the end the presenters will announce the results always from the most voted to the least voted.
